The GutBiotics Lab welcomes our newest lab members and PhD students, Dr Gaurav Agrawal and Mr Nandakumar G.
Exciting news! Wahida Tabassum has joined The GutBiotics Lab to research Australian Indigenous fruits and vegetables for her MRes project.
Indeewarie Dissanayake received the WSU Postgraduate Research Scholarship supported by NICM HRI and WSU in December 2023. Her PhD project focuses on enhancing the bioactivity and bioavailability of Australian native fruits through microbial fermentation.
Dr Deep Jyoti Bhuyan, the leader of GutBiotics Lab, was awarded the Marcus Blackmore Outstanding Contribution to Research, Education or Training Award by CMA Australia in December 2023. This prestigious award recognizes the innovative research being carried out on postbiotics at The GutBiotics Lab. Postbiotics have the potential to revolutionize the food and nutraceutical industries in the future.
